Delicious buns, breads, and other baked goods!

Baked fresh every day in the Czech Village. Come by and taste them for yourself!

About Me

I am bringing Asian and European-inspired pastries, and the culture of tea, here to Cedar Rapids.

I fell in love with bread and baking during COVID when I was stuck on the farm in Connecticut. When I moved to Cedar Rapids, I was determined to focus on my true love of baking.

I have also been a tea drinker for many years. Tea is not just a beverage, it is a culture and a tradition. Like bread, it is therapy!

Thank you to the many customers that have followed me right from the start and keep having faith in what I am doing. I am so excited to have my own tea house, and my wonderful assistants, Vi and Haley, as we bring happiness through baked goods.

10/10, I can safely say Ahn’s Bread Therapy is now my favorite bakery in Iowa!! 🥹❤️

I got the pork floss bun, Japanese curry bun, Matilda chocolate cake, Hong Kong coconut inside-out bun, and a hot dog bun, and I was SO happy with everything.

Being Sri Lankan, I grew up loving savory bakery items, and I’m always looking for bakeries that have more than just sweets. Unfortunately, I usually don’t have much luck here besides the occasional bagel or pig in a blanket. Walking into Ahn’s and seeing so many different savory buns and bakery items genuinely made me so happy!

Everything I tried was delicious, and I already know I’ll be coming back to try more. I’m especially excited to have finally found a bakery nearby with the kind of savory options I’m always craving.

Absolutely cannot wait to come back!!

The best bakery in CR! Came from out of town and I had to come back here to try their bagels and shokupan. Everything is fresh and feels homemade. Worth visiting!

This bakery and tea house is clean, well cared for, and full of delicious items. I've been there once but I've had many things brought home to me by my family members and I've never been disappointed in anything - it's all delicious. I recommend going before they sell out because the people who know about Anh's go early and they sell out of many items fast. Check their Facebook or website for information on extra services - I know my a friend of the family and my mom plan to do either high tea or a tea ceremony with Anh soon!

Always a wonderful time. I have been to tea socials here and just to have treats. I love them all, here. So sweet, the baked goods are amazing every time, and so is the tea. 💕

Tea service was such a divine experience for my friend’s birthday! Couldn’t even choose a favorite detail. Perfectly sweet , fresh baked treats, along with savory goodness and Clotted cream of your dreams. Clear and kind communication with owner/baker!

We booked a high tea ceremony for my birthday and enjoyed the whole experience very much. Ahn tailored the experience to my favorite flavors and the bread products were out of this world delicious. Highly recommend the Korean Cream Cheese Buns! Overall, we were extremely pleased by our event with Ahn and would book again in the future. Thanks for a great experience!

We recently did the tea ceremony, and WOW, we had multiple baked goods, better than anything we've had before! The flavors were all so connected and simply better than anything we could recreate. I believe each ceremony is custom. This is one of the best things I'd recommend in Cedar Rapids.

Authentic experience. Not too sugary like rest of the bakeries. Innovative recipes.
