A Journey of Tea…

Enjoy a cup in an Asian or European style…

My Ceremonies

I am pleased to serve tea in two customs – a traditional English High Tea, and an Asian Tea Ceremony. Both come with a selection of tea and a variety of baked goods and snacks! My tea ceremonies are served in our private tea salon, away from the rest of the seating. Both will leave you happy, relaxed, and more knowledgeable about the wonderful world of tea! If you are just looking for a regular cup of tea, my menu page has more information.

Please reach out via email at [email protected] for details, reservations, and questions. No phone calls, please, I am usually baking! I will be happy to answer your questions and make arrangements for a small deposit to guarantee your sitting.

A few important notes about enjoying these special events:

  • Tea Services require a reservation at least 48 hours in advance, so I have time to prepare everything. I can’t take walk-ins, sorry!
  • Our tea salon is limited to 4 people.
  • Everyone attending a tea ceremony must be at least 14 years old.
  • Our tea sets and utensils come from family heirlooms and our travels through Asia. Please handle them with love and care.
  • Unfortunately, we do not have gluten or dairy-free options at the bakery. The tea and fruit are generally safe to consume, but our kitchen will not be safe for cross-contamination so please take that into account if you have any concerns.
  • If you have other food allergies to a particular item, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to avoid it.
  • No outside food or drinks are allowed.
  • Photos are fine – however, we ask that you not take video recordings, and suggest putting your phones down as much as possible to enjoy the ambiance of the moment.

My Special Tea Services

English High Tea

The English High Tea is a two-hour serving of tea with a broad selection of baked goods inspired from our trips around the globe. The pastry menu changes from week to week, but you will be emailed the day prior what will be served. Make sure you come hungry – you will have a variety of items to sample and enjoy.

Please note that the High Tea is a more formal affair. To show respect for the event, we ask that guests dress up a bit and avoid tank tops, flip flops, torn jeans, etc. Any business casual or festive dress is appropriate! Anh will be wearing a formal áo dài when serving.

Anh’s Bread Therapy does not serve any alcohol drinks during High Tea.

The High Tea service lasts two hours in the space, so you may enjoy your tea and converse with your family and friends. The cost is $65 per person.

Asian Tea Ceremony

The Asian Tea Ceremony is a presentation of tea based on Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese traditions. The tea master will explain how tea is grown and brewed, and how it was selected for the ceremony. You will learn:

  • How tea is made
  • The different kinds of tea
  • How to enjoy your cup of tea in the Asian culture
  • The spirit and celebration of having tea
  • The differences of the tea ceremony around Asia

You will have the opportunity to choose from one of the four categories of tea. Anh will explain to you a bit about each type of tea, and then will select a specific one based on the category you prefer.

  • Green
  • Oolong
  • Black
  • Herbal

The Asian Tea Ceremony lasts approximately 45 minutes, and is $50 per person.
